Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will meet your guide and be transferred to your hotel. After checking in, our journey will begin in Istanbul, the unique and vibrant city located on two continents. During your time in Istanbul, you will have the chance to visit some of the city's most famous landmarks, including St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Hippodrome. These iconic sites offer a glimpse into Istanbul's rich history and cultural heritage, and provide a fascinating introduction to your tour. We will also have the opportunity to learn about the chariot races and Byzantine riots that took place at the Hippodrome, adding an exciting historical dimension to our visit. At the end of the day, you will retire to your hotel for a comfortable and restful overnight stay in Istanbul.

The Fener & Balat Church Tour in Istanbul is a unique opportunity to explore the rich history and cultural heritage of two neighborhoods located on the historic peninsula of Istanbul. After a delicious breakfast, your tour will begin with a visit to the Spice Bazaar, a colorful and vibrant market filled with the sights and smells of exotic spices and other traditional Turkish products. You will have the chance to browse the stalls and sample some of the local treats, learning about the history and culture of this iconic market. Following the Spice Bazaar, you will embark on a Bosphorus Cruise, taking in the stunning views of Istanbul from the water. The boat is not private, so you will have the opportunity to share the experience with other travelers. After the tour, you will be transferred to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arriving in Izmir, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. Izmir is a vibrant and dynamic city with a rich history and cultural heritage, and you will have the opportunity to explore its many attractions and landmarks during your stay.

In the morning, embark on a journey to the historic city of Smyrna, which was mentioned in the Bible as one of the Seven Churches in Asia Minor. While there, take in the sights of the ancient ruins and learn about the city's rich history. In the afternoon, continue to Thyatira, another one of the Seven Churches, and explore the remains of a Basilica and other artifacts from the Roman period. Afterwards, make your way to Izmir for an overnight stay.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before setting off for Sardes, a city that was home to one of the Seven Churches referred to in the Bible. From there, a journey to Philadelphia, a city founded in 2 BC by King Eumenes that was also home to one of the Christian congregations mentioned by St. John. After exploring Philadelphia, continue on to the stunning region of Pamukkale, known for its petrified waterfalls. Take some time to watch the sunset over this natural wonder before settling in for the night in Pamukkale.

Begin the day with a visit to Hierapolis, a city known for its rich history and cultural significance. Afterwards, head to Laodicea before continuing on to Ephesus. In Ephesus, pay a visit to the final residence of the Virgin Mary, who is said to have spent her last years there. Then, take a tour through the ancient city to see the old synagogue, the theatre where St. Paul is believed to have preached, the Library of Celsus, and other notable landmarks. At the end of the day, make your way to Kusadasi for an overnight stay.

After enjoying breakfast, it's time to check out of the hotel and make your way to Izmir Airport. From there, catch a flight to Istanbul, your next destination. As the tour comes to an end, take with you fond memories of all the sights and experiences you encountered along the way.
