These relics, which date back to the 6th century BC, showcase the temple's grandeur at the time, when it was surrounded by 36 enormous columns. Later, the Lydian King Kreisos ordered an expansion of the temple during the 6th century BC, and many of the exhibits in the London British Museum belong to this period.
