Day 1 Flight from Istanbul and Private Ephesus Tour

Your journey begins with an early morning transfer from your Istanbul hotel or Istanbul Airport to the airport for your domestic flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you will meet your professional licensed tour guide and begin exploring one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the Mediterranean.

The tour starts at Ephesus Ancient City, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Walk along its marble streets and discover iconic monuments such as the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, the Temple of Hadrian, and the ancient terraces that once formed the vibrant heart of the city. (approximately 2–2.5 hours)

After visiting Ephesus, continue to the House of the Virgin Mary, a peaceful pilgrimage site believed to be the final residence of Mary. (approximately 30–45 minutes)

Depending on time availability, you may also stop at the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. (approximately 15–20 minutes)

At the end of the day, drive toward the Pamukkale region for your overnight stay. (approximately 2–2.5 hours)

Day 2 Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your exploration of Pamukkale, famous for its dazzling white travertine terraces created by mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down the hillside. (approximately 45–60 minutes)

Continue into the ancient city of Hierapolis, founded during the Hellenistic period and later developed by the Romans. Highlights include the Hierapolis Theatre, the ancient Roman baths, and the vast necropolis, one of the largest burial grounds in Anatolia. (approximately 1.5–2 hours)

You may also choose to swim in the famous Cleopatra Pool, an optional experience where visitors can relax among submerged Roman columns in warm thermal waters. (approximately 45 minutes)

After completing the tour, transfer to Denizli Airport for your return flight to Istanbul.
